Switching from Klaviyo

Klaviyo alternative: same flows, half the invoice

An honest guide to moving over: what carries across automatically, what you rebuild in an afternoon, and what your new invoice looks like. No one-click magic promised - none needed.

    Export

In Klaviyo, export your lists and segments to CSV. Profiles, properties, tags and subscription status all come along in the file.

    Import

Our streaming importer handles 100,000+ row files without breaking a sweat. Map columns once - tags, custom fields and status carry over, so unsubscribed contacts stay unsubscribed.

    Authenticate

Verify your sending domain with guided DNS setup - SPF, DKIM and DMARC checked live. Usually done in under an hour.

    Rebuild flows

Abandoned cart, welcome, back in stock and post purchase ship as ready-made workflows. Connect Shopify or WooCommerce and turn them on.

    Recreate templates

Describe your Klaviyo template to the AI builder and iterate until it matches - your brand profile applies colors and logo automatically.

    The honest part

    What we don't promise.

There is no automated API sync that copies your Klaviyo account in one click - vendors who promise that usually deliver a mess of broken merge tags. Migration here is CSV-based and takes an afternoon, typically. Your flow logic and templates are rebuilt, not imported; the ready-made workflows and the AI builder make that the fast part. And on the Scale plan and up, we do the migration with you.

    The pricing difference

Pay for your audience. Not for sending to it.

Klaviyo prices climb with both contacts and sends, and the features you rely on sit in higher tiers. Here, every plan has every feature - AI builder, automations, integrations - and sends are unlimited. You pay for audience size, full stop. Put your subscriber count into the calculator and see the yearly difference, or read the tier-by-tier breakdown in Klaviyo vs Mailchimp pricing: what a store actually pays.

    • Unlimited sends on every plan
    • 100% of features on every plan - no gated automations
    • EU-hosted, GDPR by default, double opt-in built in
    Flat rate email marketing pricing
    25,000 subscribers - monthly
    Estimate
    MailingPlatform Professional €129/mo
    ! Klaviyo Email (public pricing, Sep 2026) $400/mo · 250k sends
    Kept per year about €2,500
    Nothing lost in the move

The store data comes back fast.

Behavioural history is the one thing a CSV can't carry - but it rebuilds itself. Connect your Shopify or WooCommerce store and orders, checkouts and product views start streaming in immediately. Within weeks your segments are as sharp as they were, running on live data instead of snapshots.

    • Store events stream in from the moment you connect
    • Revenue attribution per campaign and automation from day one
    • Behavioural segments with live counts as data accrues
    How the store integrations work
    Import job - klaviyo-export.csv
    # Streaming import
    Rows 112,408
    Mapped email, first_name, tags,
                status, 6 custom fields

    Imported 110,996 active
    Preserved 1,412 unsubscribed

    Fair questions about leaving.

No - automation logic cannot be imported between platforms, and anyone claiming otherwise is selling something. The flows that drive store revenue (abandoned cart, welcome, back in stock, post purchase, browse triggers) ship here as ready-made workflows, so rebuilding is mostly turning them on and adjusting the copy. Budget an afternoon.

Subscribers, custom fields, tags and subscription status, via Klaviyo CSV export and our streaming import - 100,000+ row files are fine. Unsubscribed contacts stay unsubscribed. Campaign history and behavioural data stay behind; store data rebuilds once Shopify or WooCommerce is connected.

At 25,000 active profiles Klaviyo Email is $400 a month with a 250,000 send cap on public September 2026 pricing, about €345. The Professional plan here is €129 a month with unlimited sends, so roughly €2,500 a year kept, and the gap widens above that: Klaviyo is $720 at 50,000 and $1,380 at 100,000, where Scale is €299. Below 5,000 profiles Klaviyo is cheaper on the sticker. Full breakdown with sources in Klaviyo vs Mailchimp pricing: what a store actually pays.

You authenticate your own domain here (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) with guided setup, then warm the new sending path by starting with your most engaged segment. Aligned sending on your own domain typically performs at least as well as your previous setup within a couple of weeks.
