Automations
Triggered flows: welcome series, abandoned carts, back in stock and more.
Automations are flows that run on their own: something happens (a signup, an abandoned checkout, a product view, an order), and a sequence of emails, waits and branches follows. You build them on a visual canvas by dragging blocks and connecting them, and every flow starts with exactly one trigger.
The most common flows ship ready-made: abandoned cart, welcome series, back in stock, browse abandonment and post purchase. Turn one on, adjust the copy and timing, and it runs. For everything else, the canvas gives you triggers for subscriber events, website activity and store events, plus profile filters to narrow who enters, re-entry rules to control how often, and if/then branches and split tests for logic.
Flows save automatically while you work, and a local recovery copy protects unsaved changes if the browser closes. Every email in a flow supports the same merge tags, templates and AI assistance as campaigns. Start with the creation guide below, then use the triggers reference when you need the exact behaviour of a specific trigger.
